The Forest of Dean Branch welcomes new members, our present membership being 180+. No qualifications are needed and none are given. Group conveners and administrative staff all give their time freely for the common good of all members.

The principal aim of the U3A is to encourage the sharing and exchange of skills, knowledge and interests amongst members over 50 who have retired from working life but are still active. It is a lively international association offering educational and leisure activities for both men and women. At present there are over 800 groups in the UK with over 270,000 members.

Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday at Viney St. Swithins Football Club, Oldcroft, Near Lydney There is a free car park. For SatNav users the post code is GL15 4NF.    Meetings start at 1.45pm.

Current membership is £12 per annum.
