U3A is a lively international
association offering educational and leisure activities for older people. At present there are over 520 groups in the UK with over 130,000 members.

The Forest of Dean Branch was formed in 1990 and our present membership is 200+.
No qualifications are needed and none are given. Group conveners and administrative staff all give their time freely for the common good of all members.

“The principal aim of the U3A is to encourage the sharing and exchange of skills, knowledge and interests amongst members who have retired from full time working life but are still active.”

Current membership is £10 per annum. (Registered Charity Number 1030046)
